| Panda to get Teeth Implantation Chinese veterinarians and dentists are pooling their skill to implant three teeth to a giant wild Panda. It lost the teeth due to injury. This operation will restore its physical health by eating properly the bamboo shoots, their normal food, the vets say. The Panda fell into a ravine and suffered fractured skull, broken legs and chest injuries. When teeth are implanted the Panda will be able to regain normal chewing function and thus can eat bamboo with ease. However an operation of this nature will need 1,500ml of matching plasma, which is hard to find from other Pandas. They are extracting blood plasma a bit at a time from the injured Panda itself !
